Crafting is a great Draw Steel subsystem: with the right item prerequisites, heroes can use their downtime to make basically any treasure in the whole game. Players might even start asking where they can find the prerequisites they need for their next project!

But it can be hard for Directors to figure out this kind of information on the fly. Where can someone find an ounce of condensed dreams? What is a shard of prismacore? It’s always an option to have these prerequisites just show up in the next adventure, but what if the Director wants the heroes to work a little harder for their craftables?

This is where Hooked on Crafting comes in! This supplement gives Directors a flavorful quest hook and a suggested challenge for each item prerequisite in Draw Steel. You can use them as is, strip them for parts, or even share them as pieces of worldbuilding.
